Harmonic Distortion (Pre-Order)
Pre-Order now and your pedal will ship out by the end of January 2026 at the latest most likely sooner.
Harmonic Distortion is a resonant, responsive distortion that brings forward metallic, overtone-rich textures while staying articulate and musical. It favors clarity, dynamics, and interaction over saturation or compression, resulting in a sound that feels lighter, more open, and less processed than modern distortion pedals.
Instead of sterile hifi esque gain, Harmonic Distortion allows harmonics to emerge and interact naturally. Light playing remains open and detailed, while stronger attack introduces a more natural distortion without collapsing into fuzz or shrill high-gain. The response is distinctly percussive, making changes in pick attack and guitar volume immediately audible.
Chords retain definition with an unconventional character, and single notes carry a focused edge that follows the player’s touch closely. The overall feel is raw but controlled, with a sense of movement and resonance that sets it apart from typical drive and distortion circuits.
Three clipping modes offer subtle variations in response and harmonic emphasis, from softer and more elastic to sharper and more immediate, all while preserving the same core voice.
This pedal is a faithful recreation of a well-known but hard to find 70s fuzz/distortion circuit owned by a well known engineer and musician. Harmonic Distortion is for players looking for something older, leaner, and more expressive than standard modern distortions.
